One of South Africa’s biggest and most popular music and arts festivals, Clover Aardklop 2013, is just around the corner. From 23 to 28 September 2013, Potchefstroom will be visited by many festival fans.

Other Things To Do During the Clover Aardklop Festival
Take a day out to Buffelsvlei. They offer horse riding, quad biking and seeing some of your favourite wildlife and birds.
Visit the Totius House Museum. Here you can learn more about Totius (Jakob Daniel du Toit), famously known as the man who translated most of the Bible into Afrikaans. He was also a poet and cultural leader. Admission to the museum is free and guided tours are offered.
Oak Avenue in Potchefstroom is a gorgeous avenue of oak trees dating back over a hundred years. Today it is a national monument and considered the longest oak avenue in South Africa, over 6,8 kilometers.
OPM Prozesky Bird Sanctuary is home to over 200 bird species and it situated on the Mooi River. With well-maintained paths, bridges and strategically placed hides, make it ideal for bird watching enthusiasts to see their favourite birds.
