Klaarstroom is a village on the polular Route 66, about 60 km east of Prince Albert and 95 km north-west of Uniondale, that starts in Cape Town and ends in Colchester.
Klaarstroom is positioned at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains at the Great Karoo entrance to Meiringspoort, a spectacular gorge through the Swartberg mountain range.
